Our Fair City is a Philadelphia, PA-based five-piece that has been carving out their own corner of the music scene since 2008. Drawing from the melodic nature of emo and post-hardcore while seamlessly mixing the textures and complexities of progressive and post-rock, the band has built a sound that is just as dynamic as it is cinematic.
They released their debut full-length, ‘A Most Clever Disaster’ (2010) — a bold introduction to a band unafraid to blend loud intensity with quiet vulnerability. Five years later, ‘The Animal Manual’ (2015) saw the band push even further into progressive and post-rock territory, deepening their vision and expanding their sonic landscape.
Now close to two decades after their founding, Our Fair City returns with their most anticipated work yet. Their third album, ‘Safe Haven’, is set for release in the fall, with the lead single “Wild Eastern Wind” dropping on June 26, 2026 — signaling a new era for one of Philadelphia's most distinctive voices in independent rock. Some bands find their sound quickly, while others spend years chasing it. Our Fair City has always seemed to know exactly who they are, and spent years since finding new ways to say it.
